Journey: Brightwater Estate (Crosshaven) -> Playground (Crosshaven)

There have been plenty challenging days along this journey and today was no exception as approx. 1.4KM into his cycle, Harry felt enough was enough and decided to call it a day.
Whether that be a slight change to his schedule (visual), a busy Crosshaven or simply the sight of the playground, Harry got visibly upset en-route and took himself off the bike. We have had a few moments like this over the past number of weeks and whilst previously Harry has come around, we knew today was one day where there was no changing his mind and so Harry took a back seat in the car to recover himself as Dad & Chloe continued their cycle for 1.73M through Crosshaven, finishing up in the car park at the beginning of the Crosshaven <-> Carrigaline walkway.
This process has more than challenged Harry both physically and mentally and for the past 4 weeks, he has done exceptionally well to take to the bike each and every day.
It’s fair to say he is looking forward to Saturday and his last day on the bike.
