The sun was splitting the stones this morning and no better place to finish today’s cycle than Garrettstown Beach. We set off at 10:30am from Ballinspittle village and there was plenty of support for Harry when passing through the village and out the main road to Garrettstown.
Harry was once again accompanied today by Chloe, with the West Cork Gardai kindly providing today’s escort.
It was a lovely trip out to Garrettstown and the water looked glorious from the road. The kids were greeted at Garrettstown by their friends, before heading off to the beach for a well-earned swim.
Our sincere thanks to Garda Damien White for his support for today’s trek. Tomorrow, Harry is staying closer to him, with a short trip to the rugby club planned.
