Today’s route took Harry from one swimming pool in Kinsale to another. Harry loves the pool and on numerous occasions over the years has frequented both swimming pools. He is typically highly sensitive to water anywhere above his neck, however still manages to enjoy the experience and looks forward to going back to the pool in time.
Today, he set out from the Kinsale Hotel & Spa, where Alison & team were very kind to wave him off and provide some gifts. Harry was again accompanied by Chloe, where they cycled 5.63KM into Kinsale via Summercove and to Actons Hotel, where they were greeted by the staff.
A late breakfast was taken in on arrival and the staff have very kindly provided a spot prize of afternoon tea in support for the campaign, which will be raffled off along with a family pass at Ballyhass Lakes.
The support for Harry in particular over the past week across Kinsale, Carrigaline and Crosshaven has been incredible and we are thrilled on how receptive and supportive people across the community have been to the campaign. A shorter cycle to the Bulman tomorrow is in store tomorrow – thankfully the weather is looking positive until the weekend, where Harry will take on his first cycle on the outskirts of the city.
