The sun came out after a wet morning and the kids set off from home shortly after 11:00am. Dad was on duty today as Harry & Chloe cycled in and around the streets of Kinsale.
The kids stopped off at Jesk for a debrief and chat with Kevin before finishing their 3KM down at the White Lady. Jesk kindly invited the kids back for ice-cream once they completed today’s cycle and needless to say, they needed no second invitation. Our sincere thanks to Kevin, Katelyn and the team at Jesk for treating the kids to some lovely ice-cream today and Dad to a much-needed coffee!
Harry cycled pitch-to-pitch last Sunday with Kinsale GAA and will do the same tomorrow with Cork GAA, where he will begin his cycle from Pairc Uí Rinn and make his way to Pairc Uí Chaoimh. Both grounds are synonymous with the GAA community here in Cork and it makes for an exciting trek before the beginning of the August bank holiday weekend.
