Some days Harry just isn’t in the form and today was one of those days. Probably his toughest day yet on the bike, he really struggled from the off and just didn’t want to take to the bike. Part of this process is for Harry to test himself and this challenge does that for him on a number of levels.
We were close to calling it a day before Harry eventually came around and with some encouragement from next door neighbours Alison, Bob & Darcy, he somewhat reluctantly left the dock.
Harry cheered up crossing over the new bridge and with the wind on his back, cycled into Kinsale and down to Sunday’s. It was a tad early for an ice cream, so a trip to the playground was the fallback.
The fact Harry has another 17 days on the bike mean there will no doubt be more days like this. Nevertheless, he still managed his 3km and smile at the end.
